Triathlon
Swim, Bike Run
Triathlon has been a cornerstone of my life for the past 12 years, shaping me both as an athlete and as a person. From my first Kids of Steel (KOS) race at Sharbot Lake, to now training for an Ironman 70.3, this sport has taught me the value of perseverance, discipline, and adaptability. Each race presents its own unique challenges, pushing me to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s not just about crossing the finish line—it’s about the whole journey; the training preparation, and the resilience required to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles.
Beyond the competition, triathlon has given me a sense of purpose. The personal achievement felt through this sport is next to none. The countless hours of training, the cold morning swims, and the grueling runs have not only tested my limits but also reinforced my belief in the power of hard work and determination.
Most importantly, triathlon has instilled a mindset that extends beyond sports. The lessons I’ve learned—setting ambitious goals, staying focused under pressure, and embracing challenges—apply to every aspect of life. Whether it’s in academics, my career, or other personal pursuits, the grit and dedication developed through triathlon have become a foundation for everything I do. Triathlon is more than a sport!
